Our History

Castledene was founded in 1979 by John Amey, a trained mechanic who had recently been made redundant. With a young family to support, and ambitions of a better life, he soon found his calling in haulage. John’s no-nonsense attitude, unwavering principles and unmatched work ethic laid the foundations for a business we are all proud of.

Castledene has grown decade by decade – because we create strong partnerships with our customers and long-lasting bonds with our valued staff.
