John Amey

John Amey, Founder Director, established Castledene in 1979, and built the business we know and love today with hard work, determination and integrity.  Always placing great value on the strength of his team and ensuring customers receive a first-class service.

Nichola Amey

Nichola Amey, Managing Director,  joined her father, John, in the business in 2001. With previous experience in the haulage industry, as well as a childhood spent amongst the business, Nichola’s knowledge has perfectly positioned her to carry on the Castledene legacy. Nichola is also part of the Palletline Steering Group.

Matthew Clarke

Matt Clarke, Operations Director, joined Castledene as a Transport Manager in 1999. His forward-thinking attitude, paired with an analytical work style and aptitude for finding new ways to develop the business, make Mark well placed to continue overseeing the operations of the business in a leadership capacity.

Bradley Amey

Bradley Amey joined Castledene in 2019 as the third generation to work in the business. He has since qualified as a Class 2 driver and is learning all aspects of the business, from logistics to driving. He is now in charge of the Palletline operation within the business and hopes that one day he will be at the helm of Castledene Transport.

Mechanics Team

Our on-site Mechanics Team are here to help diagnose and fix any issues with the fleet. Their expertise, care and attention to detail keep our vans and lorries working efficiently year-round.
